James H. and Molly Ellis House

The James H. and Molly Ellis House, once located in Dallas, Texas, was a historic farmhouse recognized for its Classical Revival architecture and its significance in the development of modern Dallas. Built over a century ago, it was home to James H. Ellis, a pioneering real estate developer. Tragically, the house was lost to a fire in August 2019, leading to its demolition. Its addition to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995 marked its importance in the city's history, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers.
