Confidence Hall is a historic Italianate Style building located in Placerville, California, recognized for its rich history and architectural significance. Originally built in 1860 as the Confidence Engine Company No. 1, it served various community functions including a fire brigade, city hall, and library. The building is notable for its role in local events and gatherings, including the El Dorado County Fair. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and features a unique connection to the adjacent Jane Stuart Building, which was constructed by an immigrant in 1861.
