International House Berkeley

The International House Berkeley (I-House) is a vibrant multicultural residence at UC Berkeley, established in 1930 through a gift from John D. Rockefeller Jr. It serves as a home for 600 students from 70 nations, promoting intercultural respect and lifelong friendships. The building features stunning views of the San Francisco Bay and Golden Gate Bridge, and is designed in Spanish–Moorish architecture. I-House has a rich history of notable residents, including Nobel laureates and political figures, making it a significant hub for global exchange and understanding.
