Camallera railway station

Camallera railway station, located in the picturesque Alt Empordà region of Catalonia, serves as a key stop on the Barcelona-Girona-Portbou line. Opened in 1877, it has a rich history and is operated by Adif. The station provides access to regional R11 services connecting Barcelona Sants to Cerbère, as well as RG1 commuter services linking the Costa Brava with central Girona. With around 20,000 passengers recorded in 2016, it is an important hub for both tourists and locals exploring the beautiful surroundings of Saus, Camallera i Llampaies.
