Piru Mansion

The Piru Mansion, a stunning example of Queen Anne architecture, is located in Piru, California. Built in 1886 by David C. Cook, a prominent publisher, it was intended to be a 'Second Garden of Eden' featuring a variety of biblical fruits. The mansion has a rich history, having been owned by the Warring family for 56 years before being sold to the Newhall family, who restored it after a devastating fire in 1981. Today, it serves as a picturesque event venue and vacation rental, attracting visitors with its historical significance and appearances in numerous films and television shows, including 'The X-Files' and 'Charmed.'
