Murder of taxi driver Paul Stine (Presidio Heights) and SFPD investigation

On October 11, 1969, taxi driver Paul Stine was shot and killed in San Francisco's Presidio Heights neighborhood; this is the only Zodiac-attributed murder confirmed within San Francisco city limits. The San Francisco Police Department led the investigation into the killing and the associated letters sent to the press. The SFPD's central offices handling the case are located at the department headquarters.
