Thomas Swadkins House

The Thomas Swadkins House, located in Arlington, Massachusetts, is a historic 2+1⁄2-story wood frame residence built around 1882, showcasing a blend of Gothic and Italianate architectural styles. Notable features include Gothic gable decorations and porch railings, alongside Italianate massing and window surrounds. As one of the first homes constructed in the Crescent Hill area during its development in the 1880s, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It has undergone renovations and expansions in 2009 and 2025 under the Jackson family, who prefer to keep the original name despite suggestions to rename it the Jackson-Swadkins house.
