Pittock Block

The Pittock Block is a historic building located in downtown Portland, Oregon, notable for its architectural significance and rich history. Constructed in 1913, it was commissioned by Henry L. Pittock, the publisher of The Oregonian, who envisioned a 'worthy' structure to occupy the site of his former home. The building features a unique design with eight stories on one side and three on the other, primarily serving as office space and retail. Today, it houses various tenants, including the City Club of Portland and the Oregon Symphony's administrative offices, and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1987.
