St. Paul's Chapel's survival after September 11

St. Paul's Chapel, built in 1766 and located one block north of the World Trade Center site, sustained only minor damage during the September 11, 2001 attacks and served as a relief center for recovery workers. Many visitors and workers described its survival and use as extraordinary, and such descriptions are widely reported as personal accounts rather than documented supernatural events. The chapel is the city's oldest surviving church building in continuous use and its role after 9/11 is well documented.
