Yule House

Yule House is a notable five-story office building located at 309-311 Little Collins Street in Melbourne, Australia. Constructed in 1932, it is one of the city's first examples of the Streamline Moderne architectural style, a variant of Art Deco that gained popularity in the 1930s. The building was designed by the architecture firm Oakley & Parkes and serves as a fireproof replacement for the original structure, which was destroyed by fire in 1931. Its façade features light-coloured terracotta tiles and large steel-framed windows, allowing ample natural light to fill the interior. The ground floor includes retail shops with an elegant entrance, while the upper floors offer unobstructed office spaces. Yule House is recognized for its modern design influences and was added to the Victorian State Heritage Register in 2010, making it a significant landmark for both tourists and architectural researchers.
