The Whitney - Gilded Age mansion turned restaurant

The Whitney at 4421 Woodward Avenue is the restored 1890s mansion of lumber baron David Whitney Jr., noted for its Romanesque Revival architecture and ornate interiors. Converted into a restaurant and event space, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and preserves many original architectural features.
