Broadcast City

Broadcast City, located in Quezon City, Philippines, was a significant broadcast complex inaugurated in 1978, serving as the headquarters for major television and radio networks owned by Roberto Benedicto. It was known for its modern facilities at the time and played a crucial role in Philippine media until the 1986 People Power Revolution, which led to its sequestering by the new government. Over the years, various networks operated from Broadcast City, but by 2020, it was demolished to make way for a new condominium project. Today, the site is a reminder of the dynamic history of Philippine broadcasting and its evolution.
