Beer Can House

John Milkovisch began covering his home with flattened beer cans, bottle caps, and other found objects in the late 1960s, creating an extensive example of folk/environmental art. The property has been preserved as a noted piece of Houston vernacular art and is open to visitors by appointment or scheduled tours. The site is frequently cited in discussions of outsider art in Houston.
