Faneuil Hall Marketplace (Quincy Market)

Faneuil Hall, built in 1742, and the adjoining Quincy Market, completed in 1826, form a historic marketplace complex in downtown Boston. The site has long served as a commercial and civic gathering place and today houses a food colonnade, shops, and regular street performances. Faneuil Hall itself has been used historically for public meetings and speeches and remains a designated historic landmark.
