Fuller-Dauphin Estate

The Fuller-Dauphin Estate, also known as 'The Maples', is a historic house located in Taunton, Massachusetts. Built in 1872 for Judge William Eddy Fuller and designed by architect E.C. Chandler, this Italianate style residence features spacious proportions and elegant ornamentation. The estate remained in the Fuller and Dauphin families until 1978 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Although part of the property has been developed into an apartment complex, the main house has been repurposed as office space, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
