Colonel George C. Thilenius House

The Colonel George C. Thilenius House, known as Longview, is a historic residence in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, built between 1870 and 1873. This striking 2+1⁄2-story structure features Greek Revival architectural elements and is constructed of painted red brick atop a stuccoed sandstone foundation, crowned with a cross-gable roof. Visitors can also explore the remnants of the old Thilenius Winery located on the property.
