New York Hall of Science (NYSCI)

The New York Hall of Science opened as a pavilion for the 1964–1965 New York World's Fair and was later developed into a permanent science museum in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park. The institution presents hundreds of interactive exhibits, hands-on workshops, a 3D theater, and outdoor science play environments aimed at children and families. NYSCI underwent major renovations and expansions in the late 1990s and 2000s to increase gallery and educational space and remains a prominent science-education landmark in Queens.
