WBNS TV Tower

The WBNS TV Tower, located in Columbus, Ohio, is an impressive 839 ft (256 m) tall free-standing lattice tower, notable for its triangular cross section. Originally completed in 1948 at 595 ft (181 m), it was one of the tallest towers in the U.S. at the time and underwent height increases in the mid-1950s, becoming the second tallest lattice tower in the country.
