Zinn House

The Zinn House, a historic townhouse located at Kvæsthusgade 3 near the Nyhavn Canal in Copenhagen, Denmark, boasts a rich history dating back to its construction in 1751. Originally built for merchant Oluf Blach, it later became the residence of the Zinn family, prominent merchants who owned it for over 150 years. Notably, composer Johan Peter Emilius Hartmann lived here for more than 70 years, contributing to its musical legacy. The building features distinct architectural elements, including a mansard roof and oriel windows, and was listed as a protected site in 1959.
