Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens boardwalk overlooks

Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens features elevated wooden boardwalks and viewing platforms that look out over lotus and waterlily ponds and tidal marsh habitat. The site preserves native aquatic plants and offers views into parts of the Anacostia River corridor that are not visible from surrounding streets. Photographers and botanists use the boardwalks for close, unobstructed observation of seasonal blooms and birdlife. The National Park Service manages the park and posts hours and access information.
