Symphony Hall (Boston Symphony Orchestra)

Symphony Hall, home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra, opened in 1900 and was designed by the architectural firm McKim, Mead & White. The hall is internationally celebrated for its acoustics, largely the result of work by Harvard physicist Wallace Clement Sabine. It remains an active concert venue and is listed as a National Historic Landmark. The building houses regular symphonic and chamber performances as well as educational programs.
