Rodin Museum collection and garden

The Rodin Museum on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway houses one of the largest collections of Auguste Rodin's sculptures outside Paris. The collection was donated by Philadelphia exhibitor Jules Mastbaum and includes notable works such as The Thinker and The Gates of Hell. The museum building and its surrounding sculpture garden opened in 1929 and remain a dedicated site for displaying Rodin's bronzes and studies.
