Portlandia sculpture on the Portland Building

Portlandia is a large copper repoussé sculpture by Raymond Kaskey mounted above the main entrance of the Portland Building. The figure, intended as a personification of the city, was commissioned for the building and unveiled in 1985. It is commonly cited as the second-largest copper repoussé statue in the United States after the Statue of Liberty. The work is integrated into the Portland Building's façade and is visible from the street.
