San Pedro Springs Park - natural limestone spring outcrops

San Pedro Springs Park is centered on natural springs where water emerges through limestone and karst features, creating visible rock basins and spring outcrops within the park. The springs have been used for centuries by Indigenous peoples and later by Spanish colonists, and the park contains engineered rockwork and stone-lined pools that interact with the underlying limestone geology. The park is also among the oldest municipal parks in the United States and preserves these spring-related limestone features.
