Hermitage (restaurant)

Hermitage was a prestigious fine dining restaurant located in Rijsoord, Netherlands, known for its exceptional cuisine and awarded one Michelin star in 1995, maintaining this accolade until 2014. Under the leadership of head chef Jan Klein, the restaurant garnered a reputation for excellence, receiving 15 out of 20 points from Gault Millau in 2013. Housed in the historic 'Wapen van Rijsoord' building, dating back to around 1800, Hermitage closed its doors on June 10, 2014, due to financial difficulties. Following its closure, the venue was repurposed and reopened as Ross Lovell on October 31, 2014.
