Blue Mustang sculpture at Denver International Airport

Blue Mustang is a 32-foot-tall blue fiberglass sculpture with glowing red eyes by artist Luis Jiménez installed on Denver International Airport property; it is commonly nicknamed "Blucifer." The work is a distinctive and controversial public artwork associated with the airport. In 2006 the artist was killed when a section of the sculpture fell on him during final fabrication; the completed sculpture was later installed at the airport.
