El Paso High School - 'The Lady on the Hill' by Trost & Trost

El Paso High School, completed in 1916 and located on a prominent hill, was designed by the regional architectural firm Trost & Trost and is an example of Mission/Spanish Revival-influenced school architecture. Its monumental façade, terra-cotta ornamentation, and interior detailing made it a noted civic landmark; the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The campus continues to function as a public high school while maintaining its historic architectural character.
