Grand Prospect Hall, located in Brooklyn, New York City, was a historic Victorian-style banquet hall known for hosting a variety of events including weddings and proms. Originally built in 1892 by John Kolle, the hall was reconstructed after a devastating fire in 1900 and reopened in 1903. The building featured a grand ballroom, multiple reception rooms, and even a bowling alley. Over the years, it became a beloved venue for local celebrations and was notable for its electric lighting system. Despite its historical significance and being listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the hall was demolished in February 2022, sparking efforts from local activists to preserve it.
