Palace of the Inquisition

The Palace of the Inquisition, located in the historic center of Mexico City, was built in the 1730s as the headquarters for the Mexican Inquisition. Today, it houses the Museum of Mexican Medicine, showcasing the evolution of medical practices from pre-Hispanic times to the 20th century. After the Inquisition's abolition, the site transitioned through various uses, including a school of medicine, before being restored and converted into a museum in 1980.
