Magnetic House

The Magnetic House, located in Townsville, Queensland, is a historic two-storeyed masonry building constructed between 1886 and 1888. Originally serving as the Townsville office for the Australian Mutual Provident Society, it showcases impressive architectural design by C H E Blackmann and John Sulman. The building features a striking facade with arched windows and decorative elements, reflecting its significance in the region's history. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register in 1992 and has undergone renovations, now housing shops and offices.
