McLaurin House

The McLaurin House, also known as the Lamar McLaurin House, is a historic Italianate-style home located near Clio in Marlboro County, South Carolina. Built around 1880, this two-story clapboard dwelling features a distinctive truncated hip roof with a balustraded deck and a charming one-story porch adorned with decorative brackets. The property also includes three contributing outbuildings. Recognized for its historical significance, the McLaurin House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
