Mission Concepción (original stone church exterior and compound remnants)

Mission Nuestra Señora de la Purísima Concepción de Acuña preserves its 18th-century stone church largely in its original, unrestored form and is often described as the oldest unrestored stone church in the United States. The mission complex also includes surviving sections of the original compound and exterior masonry that illustrate the Spanish colonial mission layout. It is part of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and the UNESCO World Heritage designation for the missions.
