Piquette Avenue Plant (early Ford manufacturing site)

The Piquette Avenue Plant opened in 1904 and was the site where Ford Motor Company developed and first produced the Model T. The building operated as an automobile assembly plant for Ford through 1910 and later housed other industrial uses. It is preserved as the Piquette Avenue Plant museum and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
