Beer Can House (John Milkovisch Folk Art Installation)

The Beer Can House is a folk-art environment created by John Milkovisch beginning in the late 1960s, in which the exterior and yard were covered with flattened beer cans, bottles, and other found materials. The work evolved over decades into a dense assemblage that transformed an ordinary bungalow into a site-specific installation. The property was later preserved and is operated for public tours by The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art.
