Bayview Opera House (historic community cultural center)

The Bayview Opera House (Ruth Williams Memorial Theatre) at 4705 Third Street is one of San Francisco’s longstanding neighborhood cultural institutions, originally constructed in the late 19th century and designated a San Francisco landmark. The facility has hosted community arts programming, performances, and civic events for decades and has been the subject of restoration and preservation efforts to maintain its historic fabric. It continues to operate as a community arts and cultural center serving the Bayview–Hunters Point neighborhood.
