William House (building)

William House is a notable mixed-use heritage building located on William Street in Darlinghurst, New South Wales. Constructed around 1928 by architect Percy Gordon Craig, it stands on the historic site of George Farm, originally granted in 1794. The building has housed significant tenants, including Cheney's Australia and Morris (NSW) Pty Ltd, which played a key role in the distribution of Morris cars in Australia. A striking feature of William House is the Gadigal Mural, a large public artwork created by artist Jason Wing, celebrating local Aboriginal culture and history.
