Dorsch's White Cross Bakery

Dorsch's White Cross Bakery, also known as the Wonder Bread Factory, is a historic site located in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Established in 1904 by Peter Michael Dorsch, the bakery moved to its current location in 1913, with buildings constructed in 1915 and 1922 showcasing American Craftsman architectural elements. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012 and has since been redeveloped for office and retail use. Notably, it featured as the Cable News Channel studios in the 2018 reboot of Murphy Brown, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers.
