Ambassador Apartments (Hartford, Connecticut)

The Ambassador Apartments, completed in 1921, is a historic residential complex located at 206–210 Farmington Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut. Designed by the notable architectural firm Berenson and Moses, this five-story building showcases Renaissance Revival architecture and features distinctive brick and cast stone walls. Originally part of a mansion estate, it was built with modern amenities for its time, including a parking garage and a large dining hall. Although it faced challenges, including a fire shortly after construction, the building has undergone significant rehabilitation and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. Today, it stands as a testament to Hartford's architectural heritage and offers a glimpse into the city's historical residential life.
