Richman Margeson Estate

The Richman Margeson Estate was a historic summer estate located in Newington, New Hampshire, notable for its Colonial Revival architecture. Built in 1894, it was the only estate of its kind to survive into the 21st century in the area. The estate featured a main house and a caretaker's cottage, both of which overlooked the scenic Great Bay. Despite its historical significance and listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, the estate fell into disrepair and was demolished in 2016 due to extensive damage and safety concerns. The estate's rich history reflects the evolution of the region and its use by the military, making it a point of interest for researchers and history enthusiasts.
