Hörby Transmitter

The Hörby transmitter, located in Östra Sallerup near Hörby, Sweden, is a significant transmission center operated by Sveriges Radio. Standing at 320 meters, it was one of Europe's tallest structures when it opened in 1959. It provides FM radio and television services to most of Scania and broadcasts four national radio channels along with two versions of P4. The transmitter is notable for being one of the last in Sweden to phase out analogue signals, with digital television broadcasting since 1999.
