Franklin Square - restored public park with family attractions

Franklin Square is one of Philadelphia's original five squares laid out by William Penn and has been restored into an active public park featuring the Parx Liberty Carousel, a miniature golf course, and seasonal public events. The park's restoration transformed a previously underused space into a recurring venue for family recreation and civic gatherings in Old City. Franklin Square continues to be managed as part of city and nonprofit efforts to revitalize central Philadelphia green space.
