Motor Mart Building

The Motor Mart Building, also known as the Commerce Building, is a historic landmark in Sioux City, Iowa, notable for its Chicago school architectural style and innovative construction techniques. Originally built in the early 20th century by Ralph A. Bennett for automobile-related purposes, it was later transformed into an office building by A.L. Galinsky in 1919. The building features a distinctive roof garden and a ballroom that hosted famous performances, including one by Lawrence Welk.
