Tomb of Nadira Begum

The Tomb of Nadira Begum, located in Lahore, Pakistan, is a significant Mughal-era mausoleum dedicated to Nadira Banu Begum, the wife of Prince Dara Shikoh. Built in a unique sunken water tank, this tomb lacks the traditional dome found in other Mughal structures and features a raised platform at its center. The tomb's architecture includes a central chamber surrounded by an ambulatory and is accessed via a bridge supported by thirty arches. Despite its historical importance, the site has suffered from vandalism and theft over the years.
