Griffith–McCune Farmstead Historic District

The Griffith–McCune Farmstead Historic District, also known as Rockford Farm, is a captivating historic site located near Eolia, Missouri. This district features seven significant buildings that showcase agricultural architecture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including a brick I-house and smokehouse from around 1870, as well as several frame outbuildings and a unique octagonal barn with a center silo built in 1910. Designated as a national historic district and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, it offers visitors a glimpse into the region's rural heritage and farming practices.
