Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) Boston

The Institute of Contemporary Art moved to a new waterfront building in Boston's Seaport District in 2006; the building, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, features a cantilevered glass facade over Boston Harbor. The ICA presents rotating contemporary art exhibitions, performance series, film screenings, and public programs, and includes gallery, theater, and education spaces. Public areas of the museum offer views of the harbor and the Boston waterfront.
