The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod's tower rises 1,149 feet and features several high-altitude thrill rides and observation decks. Rides such as Big Shot, X-Scream and Insanity operate at the tower's top and are frequently captured in widely shared photos and videos due to their dramatic, elevated locations. Big Shot was designed to catapult riders upward from the tower's summit and is a common subject of viral thrill-ride footage. The tower and its rides are a distinctive visual landmark on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip.
