Repton (Louisville, Kentucky)

Repton is a historic house located at 314 Ridgedale Road in Louisville, Kentucky, designed by prominent architect J. J. Gaffney. Originally built in the 19th century, the house was reconstructed in 1902 after a fire destroyed the original structure, which was home to Norbourne Galt. The current Classical Revival design incorporates the original walls and foundation. Later owned by inventor Thomas W. Moran, Repton was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in architectural history and local heritage.
