Beer Can House (John Milkovisch)

The Beer Can House is an outsider-art landmark created by John Milkovisch beginning in 1968; the home's exterior and surrounding yard are covered with flattened beer cans, bottle caps, and other found metal pieces. The site is preserved as a local folk-art attraction and has been documented in Houston art histories and city tours. It is accessible to the public during scheduled hours and by appointment.
