Upper Weyanoke

Upper Weyanoke is a historic plantation house located near Charles City, Virginia, featuring a charming one-and-a-half-story cottage from around 1815 and a grand two-story Greek Revival residence built between 1858 and 1859. Originally constructed as a dependency by John Minge, the cottage complements the main house, which was designed for Robert Douthat and showcases a unique side-hall plan typical of urban architecture.
