Merchants and Manufacturers Building

The Merchants and Manufacturers Building, now known as One Main Building, is a historic landmark located on the campus of the University of Houston–Downtown. Built in 1930, it was once the largest building in Houston and is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally designed for commerce, it features 14 miles of floor space and could accommodate a significant portion of the city's population.
